Tartan is a huge trend this season but it is not a trend I am overly taken with. I don’t like tartan clothes and I don’t find it fits in with my personal style. However, a few weeks ago I shared a streetstyle picture on my Instagram and Facebook and wrote how I loved oversized tartan scarves (or rather pashmina) and one of my readers was kind enough to comment saying that they were in Penneys (Primark) at the time. I went in a few days later was so happy to find it was exactly the kind I wanted for only €7! So a huge thank you to my reader for helping me find one.
Over-the-knee are also a big trend this A/W. I have always loved flat over-the-knee boots and have had these suede pair for a few years now. They are effortlessly stylish and so easy to wear. I love wearing them with a monochrome outfit or dark denim jeans. This coat is my favourite coat this season, I wear it so much and never grow tired of it. It’s the perfect fit, has soft, great quality material and of course I adore the contrasted leather sleeves. It’s the perfect black Winter coat for me and it was €30 from Penneys! It’s still in store (in selected sizes in Galway anyway) and I would strongly recommend it.
