This beautiful embellished jacket from Ted Baker was the first piece I choose while styling looks from Arnotts for the shoot last week. I love embellishment but I honestly do think you need to invest when buying sequined or embellished pieces, otherwise they can look quite cheap. Ted Baker and All Saints are probably the best brands for buying good quality embellished pieces, both of which can be found in Arnotts.  What I loved about this jacket is that you can actually achieve two different looks with it. As you can see from the pictures, you can achieve two different shades from the sequins by brushing them upwards or downwards, the sequins are either a shiny gold or a muted champagne tone, depending on what way they sit.

I chose to pair it with crisp white, cigarette trousers by Tara Jarmon and a sheer white tshirt from Reiss to contrast the fabrics and keep the look quite formal. This is a perfect outfit for an evening event, it’s smart and elegant.  I think white or cream cigarette trousers should be in every girls wardrobe and these from Arnotts are the perfect style. Keeping with gold tones, I chose a gorgeous pair of  Carvela pointed courts and a clutch from Olga Berg, both of which I really loved.

We chose the Morrison Hotel on the quays in Dublin to shoot this look, I loved the decor. It’s such a nice hotel and the location is great.
