A  mac coat and stripes are two of my favourite pieces for this season. I love trench coats and they’re perfect for summer in Ireland, where sadly you often need a light coat, especially in the evenings. It’s the perfect cover-up and effortlessly stylishly. I’ve been on the lookout for a classic mac for ages to be honest but I found it hard to find one I really loved. This one from Zara is a far more relaxed fit than most which is what I love. It’s perfect for throwing over dresses and jeans, I’m literally wearing it with every outfit. If you ask me, every girl needs a classic mac in their closet.

I picked up both this stripe dress and the mules from New Look recently, the two items were only around €50 which is very reasonable. I like mules but they aren’t a style I know I would wear very often so I was hesitant to invest in an expensive pair so these were perfect for me. New Look have an impressive collection of sandals this season. I kept the accessories minimal and opted for silver as opposed to my usual lashings of gold on my hands. I was so happy to find this ring in H&M back in April as I had been lusting after this style for ages. It was part of a pack of three, silver, gold and rose-gold, so I was really excited about them. Sadly, my excitement soon subsided when both the gold and rose-gold broke within a week! Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend them.
