I am having a lov affair with black lately, but at least I’m breaking away from my signature white a little. I’m going on a shopping trip to Manchester in two weeks time with my Mom and sisters and I’ve been thinking about what I need and want to purchase on the trip. I’ve decided to invest in more basics for the forthcoming season. It’s quite funny how we always seem to spend very little on simple tops when really these are the things we should be investing in as we’ll wear them far more often. I love very minimalistic pieces anyways but it just makes sense to spend more on pieces you’ll get more wear out of. This v-neck top from Asos is a piece I know I would wear loads.

I styled a camel version of this sleeveless trench from Missguided last week and am since lusting after the black one. I’m a sucker for the elongated gilet style.  Zara’s ‘City bags’ are always amazing and I love this latest style from their new collection. A black bag in this style is definitely a staple piece every girl should have. Monica Vinader jewellery is forever on my wishlist, they’re all so beautiful. I’m especially lusting after this gorgeous bangle. Nude shoes are another favourite of mine and these tick all the boxes. Pop over to the site and see just how amazing they look on!
