I am very excited to share my very first look of 2015. While it happens to be a personal favourite look of mine for some time, I am more excited to be back publishing and kicking off the new year. I have so many projects in mind and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for me. Looking back on 2014, I honestly cannot believe all that happened. Throughout the year I had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands, attend London Fashion Week twice, fly to London for work with Primark, shoot with some very talented photographers and write for a national magazine. In 2015 I hope to further progress Penny and Polaroids and have the opportunity to devote more time to the blog while still working on freelance projects in fashion journalism.

Now, on to the outfit. One thing that hasn’t changed with the new year is my love of monochrome, roll necks and tailored lines; this outfit is synonymous with my personal style. These boots were a Christmas gift from my sister and I adore them! Admittedly, I threw just a few hints about how much I loved them, so I was eagerly anticipating them under the tree on Christmas morning. They remind me of last years Balmain booties which Kendall Jenner has been seen wearing on numerous occasions (in-case you didn’t know - I love Kendall!) Another latest love is this beautiful cream coat from Missguided. I also wore it on Christmas eve which you may have seen on Instagram.
