Nuala founded the website and social channels in late 2012 as a creative outlet to express her inspirations and love of fashion. Penny and Polaroids has worked with some of the industry’s leading fashion houses including Shopbop, Daniel Wellington, River Island, Primark, Asos, Parfois, Missguided, Urban Decay and many more.
Nuala has received style acclaim from the world’s leading fashion publications such as Vogue.com, Grazia Magazine, Stylist Magazine, W Magazine, House of Fraser, Asos, Look Magazine, Stellar and Xposé magazine. Nuala has been listed in UK’s leading fashion publication, Look Magazine’s Best of Street Style 2012 and in both Grazia India, W Magazine and Stylist’s ‘Best of Streetstyle’ for London Fashion Week in 2014.
Aside from styling, Nuala is a freelance fashion journalist and has written for House of Fraser, The Irish Daily Star Chic Magazine and OohLaLa Magazine.
